There is a small security risk that must be patched in the e107 version we have. Matsybear will be merging the update with the custom code we are using, and rolling out the changes to the forums. It is possible that the site will be down for a bit while this happens. Once the update is done I will post a followup message.

We are still trying to get support to fix the server. I'm not sure this is a good idea until the server has been given a clean bill of health.

the software update and the network issues they are having are independent issues. there shouldn't be any issues with her updates.

Have you considered asking them to transfer the website to a different node? I've been having trouble with my own website which is also hosted on node9, so it's something I'm seriously considering.
